I Bee Gees sono stati una band musicale mannese, formatasi in Australia. Sono da considerare tra i gruppi di maggior successo nella storia della musica. Il nome del gruppo deriva da Brothers Gibb (fratelli Gibb): le due lettere iniziali in inglese si leggono "Bee" e "Gee"; la "s" finale indica il numero plurale.
I fratelli Gibb sono:
Barry (Douglas, 1º settembre 1946): voce, basso, chitarra
Robin (Douglas, 22 dicembre 1949 - Londra, 20 maggio 2012) (gemello eterozigote di Maurice): voce
Maurice (Douglas, 22 dicembre 1949 – Miami Beach, 12 gennaio 2003) (gemello eterozigote di Robin): voce, basso, tastiera, chitarra
Andy (Manchester, 5 marzo 1958 - Oxford, 10 marzo 1988) che però, pur invitato più volte, non entrò mai a far parte dei Bee Gees, preferendo una carriera da solista, anche se molto affiancata al gruppo.
Famosi per i loro impasti vocali e, dalla seconda metà degli anni settanta, per la cantata in falsetto, i tre fratelli collaboravano spalla a spalla nella stesura delle loro canzoni, nonché alla scrittura dei testi di alcuni successi interpretati da altri artisti.
